Ginette Hampshire, MSc, MPhil
Ginette is a nutritionist and certified health coach who believes that whatever their age or starting point, everyone can feel more energised and healthy to do the things they love. With a masters degree in nutrition, she has worked as an Adult Community Learning Lecturer. She now runs workshops, seminars and provides 1-to-1 health coaching.
She started her health and wellness journey when she took a long break from a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry to travel the world with her family for 12 years. She became fascinated with how what we eat and how we behave can hugely impact our health and how we feel. She later used this knowledge to help fuel and heal her body during her own cancer journey.
Ginette understands nutrition is a minefield of often contradictory information, and we are all biochemically different. She doesn’t believe in a one diet fits all approach. Rather, she specialises in a personalised approach to long-lasting wellbeing, including how to use food positively to feel better and more energized, without feeling deprived. As a certified health coach, she listens to, supports and motivates her clients to get to where they want to be, whatever their starting point and helps keep them going when otherwise they may give up. She always concentrates on what’s going well in a client’s life, regardless of any current health issues, so they can start to imagine a better future. The great news is that the body can respond quickly to small changes, which can make a huge difference to wellbeing and each simple step forward makes it easier to make another step, whether it be towards losing weight, improved sleep, or living with more energy, better emotions and more joy.
